WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR FIRST VISIT

After 20 years of treating patients at Brucefields Golf Centre we look forward to welcoming you to our new clinic in Bridge of Allan. There is parking at the rear of the clinic, disabled parking and 2 spaces for people with poor mobility at the front or parking just along the road.

Your first visit to Physiofocus will take the form of an assessment and treatment. All treatment rooms are private and the physiotherapist will spend the full time with you. Initial appointments are up to 1 hour. During this time the physiotherapist will take a full history of your condition, any relevant past medical history, do a full physical assessment and then discuss the findings and the clinical diagnosis.

A treatment plan will then be discussed looking at goals, time scales and realistic outcomes. Within this initial consultation you will receive your first treatment and be given any relevant advice or exercises to do take home.

Depending on the area of the body that is being assessed shorts may be useful to bring. Don’t worry the clinic has some to lend if you don’t have any.
