Sponsorship

Physiofocus has supported local sports teams and events from the very start getting behind individuals cycling around the world, Pipe Bands looking for kit or Fireman rowing the Atlantic. We are passionate about sponsoring the wealth of local talent we have in Stirling and very often those we have supported as young athletes have made it in their field!

It is always great to be a part of the small achievements and of course the big ones and we take our role in the community seriously. Over the past twenty years we have avidly supported our community through financing strips and equipment, supplying physiotherapy to athletes who otherwise have no access to any, being on hand with physiotherapy at events and donating to athletes charity goals!

Over the years our physiotherapists have covered a wealth of events. We have attended the Stirling 10k, Marathon and Stirling Triathlon as well as school events. Our physios have been part of Commonwealth Games, Scottish Athletics, World Championships, Olympics and Winter Olympics and South Africa Cricket tour.

Testimonials - 2018 / 2019

SCRFC Ladies Section

In June 2018 on the same day that our cycling girls arrived home to Stirling, our sponsored county girls set off on tour with their new Physiofocus sponsored kit. Physiofocus provided 92 training tops across all ages of female teams and coaches. In May 2019 the U-15 and U-18 teams both won the Club Cups at Murrayfield. This section of SCRFC has grown steadily over the past few years currently having over 100 girls regularly training and playing at the county ground which is phenomenal.

Cycling around the world June 2017-June 2018

“In August last year we pedalled our last miles into Stirling, concluding a 10,000 mile cycle around the world. On that day, we also hit our fundraising goal to fully fund a school for a community in Ghana with no education facilities.

We quiet literally couldn’t have done it without Seonaid and the Physio Focus Team. Just 5 weeks into the journey, I had the most excruciating pain in my knee and I thought the cycle was over before it had even really began. I couldn’t even do one rotation on the bike. Seonaid and her team were at the end of the phone and on FaceTime, talking me through how to manage the injury and explained exactly what was going on. They set aside my fears and had me back on the bike after just 3 days of rest. I can’t thank them enough.

On top of this, at one of the lowest points on the trip, half way up a mountain pass in Albania, we received a message from Seonaid to say that physio focus were interested in sponsoring our efforts. They donated generously to our charity fund and also supported us with new gear. It was an incredible boost to the spirits and kept us going on the really tough days.

Thank you so much to the physio focus team, who both supported and believed in us from the start”

Rowing the Atlantic 2018

“As our first Sponsor Physio Focus really put a lot of faith in our campaign to row the Atlantic Ocean for the Fire Fighters Charity, they allowed us to buy the equipment we needed to get our campaign off the ground. This eventually led to 44 local and national companies sponsoring Team Noble and over £60k raised in expedition costs and charitable donations. They provided 1st class physio to us on a weekly basis on the lead up to the race and we ended up rowing the 3000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean in 55 days 2 hours.”
